unlock your minds potential

Your mind came with features preloaded, many of which you don’t even know about.  For example, did you know you can read about as fast as normal when I scramble the letters in words you are familiar with?

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch, it dseno’t raelly mtaetr iwihch oerdr I wirght ltteres.  taht is bcuseae yuor azanmig huamn mnid deos not atcaully raed ervey lteter by istlef but the wrod as a whloe.  waht is iproamtnt is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer are in the rghit pclae.  If yuo cna raed tihs, yuo are azanmig! Don’t be so shocked.  You’re not a super freak…yet.

It’s the other abilities that you haven’t tapped into that will change the way people perceive you.

Yes, they may get a little uncomfortable when you appear to tap into an unseen energy source that allows you to act like a teen on steroids in the gym, but don’t worry, they will eventually get over it.

And while we’re on the topic of super freaks, how would you like to become one?

What is one area of your life where you have repeatedly made an effort to change, only to be held back by the not so helpful default settings your brain has for conserving energy and not working too hard?  Yes, that is unfortunately another of the “pre-loaded” features of your brain.

Here’s a tip from a psychologist that veered off the mainstream course in his research.  If you want to beat the “conserve energy” instinct, you need to make a switch.

The switch is simple for me to say, and hard for you to do.  If you learn how to do it…well, let’s just say things will be different for you after that.

The mind is always striving for something, even when it is striving to slow you down to conserve energy.  The mind is always in either “approach” or “avoidance” mode.

The difference is that approach mode releases tremendous amounts of energy, while the avoidance mode is based primarily in trying to avoid what you don’t want.  Avoidance mode is always, at some level, driven by fear, fear of what you don’t want.

Ever felt tired on a Monday morning for no reason?  Ever felt pumped up and excited just before you left work on a Friday afternoon?

That’s the difference between the approach mindset and the avoidance mindset.

So how do you make the switch?  Like many other valuable skills, it takes some practice, but you can start practicing today.

Pick something you would like to change in your life.  Now practice manipulating the way you think about the goal until you get that

feeling of energy.

It should feel a little bit like an invincible sensation accompanied by thoughts like, “It’s only a matter of time now until I succeed.”  When you start getting sparks of that feeling, you know you are moving in the right direction.

Like I said, it’s hard to do.  That’s why we have formed a community of people who can support your efforts as you develop this ability (plus a whole bunch of other abilities you can learn about in the Life Modification system).
